Escondido Falls can be reached via the Escondido Canyon Trail. It is a 4-mile out-and-back trail that allows dogs on leash.
The trail starts at a parking lot off the Pacific Coast Highway and goes up Winding Way. Once you see the “Edward Albert Escondido Canyon Trail and Waterfalls” sign, the trail transitions to a dirt road.
