If you’re looking for easy trails with lots of shade to hike with your dog, Franklin Canyon Park is a great option. There’s a small lake with ducks, fish, and turtles residing in them. This park has plenty of tables and benches for picnics. Located between the San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills, the drive to Franklin Canyon Park is peaceful and scenic.
