Things to Know

  • Get your camera ready and take a picture of your dog with Louie the Bear! You will find the wooden statue close to the parking area, beside the restroom.
  • There are parts of the lake close to the shoreline that have sudden deep drops. Be aware of where you are stepping or bring a floating device if you’re not a good swimmer.
  • The beach itself is small so might be packed during peak season
