Clover Park is a family-(absolutely including your dog)friendly, 17-acre park located in Ocean Park Boulevard, Santa Monica. This park is a popular spot for people walking their dogs or just hanging out in the grass. If you check out the huge open field, you can also occasionally spot dogs and their humans playing fetch.
Aside from the huge open field, the park also features numerous walking paths shaded by trees. For a fun experience, you can follow the loop path near the field next to the Santa Monica airport. Here, you can have a glimpse of small planes taking off and landing on the runway. Just keep in mind that the noise may not be enjoyable for all dogs so it’s best to introduce them to the sounds gradually.
Clover Park also has facilities for dogs, such as drinking fountains and waste disposal stations. It’s fairly well-maintained and even has a cool, modern-looking restroom! Another bonus of the park is its convenient location within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants with outdoor seating.

Things to Know
- Though Clover Park doesn’t allow dogs to be off-leash, there is a nearby dog park where you can let your dogs run and play. It’s called Airport Park Dog Park. It’s a great park with a separate small and big dog section.
- We recommend checking out Ghisallo, a popular pizza place which is just a 13-minutes walk away from the park.
