Indiana Dunes National Park is located along the southern shore of Lake Michigan. The park features a diverse landscape of forests, wetlands, and sandy beaches. One of the park’s most popular areas is dog-friendly West Beach, known for beautiful views of the lake and miles of sandy shoreline.

The park offers a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming, fishing, and bird watching. In addition, it is home to a number of historic and cultural sites, including the historic Bailly Homestead and the Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education.
