As for dogs, they are allowed in Yosemite National Park, but with some restrictions. Dogs are not permitted on trails, in the backcountry, or in public buildings, including visitor centers and museums. However, dogs are allowed on paved roads, in campgrounds, and in picnic areas. Visitors should keep their dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times to protect both the dogs and the wildlife in the park.
